With a letter to the Bulgarian institute for standardization; Technical Committee-4: cement, lime and gypsum, BACI welcomes the ongoing procedure for the assessment and revision of EN 197-2 – prBDS EN 197-2rev:2019 – this European Standard specifies the scheme for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of cements, including certification of constancy of performance. According to the BIS’s website, the project is currently in voting mode by TC-4 members.

In this regard, BACI asked for a positive vote on the proposed changes to EN 197-2, both at national and European level, in all current and upcoming votes, with BACI explicitly supporting the development of the standard EN 197-2 and the proposed draft prBDS EN 197-2rev:2019.
