Rosen Papazov

Member of the MB of BACI


Rossen Papazov is the CEO and member of the Management Board of Holcim (Bulgaria) AD since September 2020.
He was born in Sofia. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy-Sofia and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. His career at Holcim began in 2000. From 2004 to 2007 he headed the company’s Aggregates and RMX business. In the period 2007-2020 he held senior management positions in various companies of the Group in Europe and Africa. Prior to joining LafargeHolcim, he worked for Arthur Andersen and the World Bank in Eastern Europe.
Part of the LafargeHolcim Group in Bulgaria are the cement plant in the village of Beli Izvor, Vratsa region, the aggregates producers Holcim Karierni Materiali AD-Sofia, Holcim Karierni Materiali Rudinata AD and Holcim Karierni Materiali Plovdiv AD, RMX centres in Sofia and Plovdiv and Geocycle Bulgaria EOOD, dealing with the supply of alternative fuels used in the production of cement.
He speaks english, french and russian language.
